These images are from the 2009 Balloons Over Waikato Nightglow Show. While thousands of people from the Waikato converged on the University of Waikato for the show teachers and students from Melville Intermediate were busy selling drinks and sausages to help fundraising for the Y8 Camp. Our school was fundraising from 1pm until the close of the show at 9pm!
That must have been quite beautiful! I have never seen a hot air balloon take off before. I bet you had a great time.

Wow! That was real exciting. I have never been to a real balloon show before and I hope to witness one in the future.
ReplyDeleteLast year, we witnessed a real hot air balloon taking off in our school ground but that was only one balloon and it happened in the day time.
