Melville Intermediate - Colin Meads

At our school we have a very special evening coming up - we have a fund raising supper for Sports at Melville Intermediate School. On May 22nd we are having a supper at the Marist Club Rooms in Hamilton East. The guest speaker for the evening is Colin Meads.

Colin Meads
is one of New Zealand s most famous ever rugby players, and in fact was named as All Black of the Century. He played for the All Blacks between 1957-1971 and was capped 55 times for the All Blacks.

We also have a singer named Ben Lummis, who won the first ever New Zealand Idol Competition performing as well as auctioning items such as Chiefs signed jerseys and Rugby Balls, All Black jerseys and tickets, and a whole lot of other prizes. It will be a huge night for the school and all the money raised will be going towards our School Sports Equipment and Tournaments.

There are still some tickets for this event available. If you are interested you need to leave a comment on this site and Mr Webb will pass on the information to you. We are still looking for donations too if you are able to help out in any way leave us a comment.
