On Friday for our Classroom Construction Challenge students had to get into groups of four, and construct a object where they could launch an egg the furthermost distance without the egg shattering. Despite a fatality for one of the pilots before the classroom had even been left when the dust settled, the straws had been cut and the construction completed there could only be one winner and it was the Boys team of Bailey, Prashant and Bradyn who stood tall, proud and victorious.

This looks like a great challenge. How many eggs did you begin with and how many were left intact at the end? How far did the winners actually manage to get their egg to?

Wow..I've had to drop eggs from high heights before, trying to leave them intact, but never launched them. That takes some serious skills.
