On Friday at Melville Intermediate School we had a special performance from the Melville Intermediate School Cheer Team. Fresh back from the Winter Olympics Competition at Totara Springs, Melville Intermediate took the opportunity for our 2013 Winter Olympics Squad to perform thier competition winning cheer to the school. On Friday the schoo hall was kept open at lunchtime and the Winter Olympics Squad, second overall and Cheer Winnters performed to the class. This is a video of that performance that was recorded and edited by Chloe from Room Five.

Congratulations on your winning cheer! It was very entertaining to watch. How long did you practice this particular cheer? What will you be learning next?

P.S, I just started middle school in the US, which for us is grade 6, 7 and 8.

DeleteThank you so much for your comment, I've show the students at my school about your comment, they were quite excited that their video was being seen in the USA (and they should have already left a comment back answering your questions). Wonderful to hear from you and good luck with the new school year.
Hello Miriam,
ReplyDeleteWe practised the cheer for about 10 weeks maybe a little bit more or less. We wont be learning anything next because it was just for the Winter Olympics camp that we went to for a week.
