Melville Intermediate - School Gardens
The year sevens looked at the tomatoes and ate one and said that was so nice. Our Y7 students had an opportunity to have a look at the Melville Intermediate School gardens.
We looked at the silverbeet and said it looks delicious to eat. Jackie from Room Five took these photographs. The gardens are located between the computer room and the art room.
The year sevens went and saw the water tank and in the gardens there was lots of vegetables like tomatoes, lettuec, cucumber and all sorts of stuff to see. The water tank is for water for our toilets to flush that we recycle.

ReplyDeleteDear Melville Intermediate Yr7 students
ReplyDeleteBesides loving your eco friendly veg garden, I really love that you can wear leather sandles to school. We still wear lace up shoes and knee high socks. I am constantly asking the boys to pull up their socks. I've been threatening to sew them all elastic garter bands! :o)
BTW, how old are Yr7 students? Is it like our 12-13yr old 7th Graders in South Africa?
