Melville Intermediate - Technology Term 2 2013
On the 7th of May 2013 in the Woodwork technolgy we were making boxes that can hold your valuables. We were nailing the tops and bottoms on and sanding them to give them a good finish. We are working on them for the next few weeks. We will be posting photos of them when they are completed.

Dear builders,
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing your slide show as you being the process of building. I look forward to following your progress! What kind of wood are you using?
What will each of you be using your box for?
Interested,
Mrs. Y♥llis
California
They look good already. Are you planning to paint or varnish the outside?
ReplyDelete@Mrs Yollis - Im not sure about the wood, I will have to check with the students and the teahcer! (the Woodwork teacher!). The boxes I know this are for special treasures for the students. Thanks for your comment!
ReplyDelete@Ms Garden - Yes the students are definatly going to varnish them at the end to protect them so they are something that the students will be able to keep for a long time.
