Melville Intermediate - Quad Blogging 2012
We're very excited to be involved in Quadblogging this year, paired up with two classes in England and a class in Canada. Today we concentrated on Mr Listers Class in Canada. Firstly we brainstormed about our knowledge of Canada, individually and then as a class. We used our knowledge to develop five questions each to further our knowledge about Canada and left these as comments on the student blogs of the children in Mr Listers Class. They have certainly been doing some wonderful stuff. You can check out their awesome blog by clicking on the link here.

Hello Room 8
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank Nathan and Deighty for the wonderfull comment. Im Brad from Chilliwack B.C and I was wondering what blog did you like the most?
Brad
Hello, Mr. Webb, my name is Christina.
ReplyDeleteI am from Central Elementary School, Chilliwack, British Columbia.I'm in Mr. Lister's class. We are involved in Quadblogging too. We have talked about your blog too, and I love your classes blog posts! Are you Quadblogging with New Zealand and England too?
Sincerely,
Christina
@ Brad - thank you so much for your nice words. I have passed them onto Deighton and Nathan P who were both very excited to hear from a student in Canada, because its the first time they've heard from someone overseas.
ReplyDelete@ Christina - we are Quadblogging with the same group as your class so apart from ourselves we have the two classes in England that we will be working with. Thank you for the kind words about our class page, most of the students are publishing online for the first time, so to have contact with someone from the other side of the world is quite exciting for our students.
Hi! Room 5,
ReplyDeleteQuadblogging is such a great way to make friends with other blogs around the world. It is also a great way to learn more about other countries. I can't wait to see how you work with your new blogging friends. I am sure you will be amazed by how much you will teach each other.

Hi Guys
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog through Twitter. I set up QuadBlogging about a year ago just to help a local school who needed a wider audience for their blog. It's great to see that QuadBlogging has spread all over the globe and to see such fine blogs being created like this one.
Well done, it is obvious that you are al enthusiastic about blogging.
Keep it up!
Mr. Mitchell

Hello Room 5,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Quadblogging. I visited some of the blogs in the first Quadblogging adventure set up by Mr. Mitchell last year. It's still growing in size. You'll have a great opportunity to share with others around the world.
Happy Quadblogging.
