A Maori Mihi is a greeting to introduce yourself. In March this was right from the start one of the most viewed videos on our page. Today the video finally reached the '#1' spot for Google searches in New Zealand. A very proud moment, but also on the same day Room Eight scored their second #1 success as Maori Mihi Template, a slide show that we created in 2009 also finally went to '#1' on the Google Search Engine.

These are huge successes for Room Eight @ Melville Intermediate School and we will be sharing these with the students when we return to school next term, in little over a week.

ReplyDeleteWow! Congratulations :) I remember when I did a search for class blog and saw mine on the front page, I was very excited! What search term do you use? I would like to use it here in the US and see where you show up at.
ReplyDelete@ Mrs Smith - yes it is a relaxing break for our students, although not for the teacher! We've just had the change into Spring so our students are quite looking forward to the fourth term and our Christmas holidays!
