On Wednesday night Melville Intermediate School competed in Hip Hop as part of Gym Sports at the 2010 AIMS Games. Our team ended up coming Fourth by the slimmest of margins, 0.50 of a point and the team can be very proud of their efforts. This is the official highlights of all the events.
Greetings from Montreal, Canada!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I've already introduced myself, but I am Mrs. Theriault from ALL THINGS QUEBEC. We are a Grade 6 class with age ranges of 11/12 - but I also have younger students for a few hours a week.
I see that your school has a strong sports program. I have a lot of athletes in my class and I think they're going to really enjoy visiting your site.
My students have posted some questions about the recent New Zealand earthquake and they are hoping that some of your students might come by and leave a comment (or answer one of the questions). Here is the url for the New Zealand post -

Wow what a fantastic competition! You guys did a great job in the hip hop section. You must have put in many hours of practice.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome that Melville Intermediate has a blogspot. I am enjoying being able to keep up with what the school is doing. Is this the only one for the school?

ReplyDeleteOur class really enjoyed looking at the video clips. We think that all of the teams were very creative, and had trained hard. This has been a busy term for you all.
What do you have planned for next term I wonder? Do you go on a school camp/
