Melville Intermediate - T3: What does it mean to be

Custom Glitter Text

For Term Three our Unit of Study is "What does it mean to be clean and green?" we have a social studies and environmental themed unit of work. We are interested in looking at examples from around New Zealand, Australia and the world about how your School or Classroom uses resources in a responsible way. We intend to investigate the use of resources within our school and would love the ability to compare this to your school, if you would be available for this please leave a comment to us or email out teacher.

We have some special events occurring at Melville Intermediate School this term. We have our School production at the end of this term. We have our Girls Basketball team and Boys Football teams competing at the AIMS National Tournaments. We have also our School Cross Country Runs, Inter-Intermediate Boys Rugby and School Speech Finals. The Y8 students at Melville Intermediate School also have their Economic Prep Market Day, if you want a preview of what to expect on this day then you can view these two videos that were created by Janice in 2009 video one features the first half of the stalls, as does video two. Its going to be an action packed term at school!.

  1. Kia Ora Melville Intermediate,
It sounds like you're going to be just as busy as we are. Your topic sounds really interesting too. We look forward to seeing what resources are useful and how to look after our environment better. Good luck for term 3 and we will stop by again soon.
