Melville Intermediate - Geo-Caching with Mr Miller

Were very excited in Room Eight at the moment, we Skyped last week with Mr Millers Classroom in the USA and they are about to send us a travel bug! Its being sent to us by Mr Millers Class and we are able to track it online by following the link on Mr Millers page.

This is a wonderful example of inter-acting with a classroom and students on the other side of the world. You can visit Mr Millers wonderful blog by clicking on the link here. We will keep you updated with progress about the travel bug and we will be following its progress with HUGE excitement, and we will be naming the travel bug this week!

  1. Good Luck with this quest! We are enjoying checking out where our Trev bug is on its travels... Reading your post today, makes me think that we need to set one up to leave from here headed for Mr Miller's class... It would be fun to see which one gets there first!

  2. That is so cool that you have jumped on the geocaching work, a great way to look at the world and follow objects, students will enjoy looking at geography in a different way.
