Melville Intermediate - Touch Vs. Fairfield Intermediate

On Tuesday 19th March 2013 the Waikato Inter Intermediate Touch Competition took place at Swarbrick Park, Hamilton.  The tournament featured teams and schools from throughout the Waikato region.  Melville Intermediate Boys in the second game of the season faced off against Fairfield Intermediate School.  Melville were desperate for a win to press their claims for a semi-final spot.  The highlights were filmed by Nathan H and Levi, who then edited the footage back at school, and prepared it for broadcast.  Melville Intermediate are in their traditional red/green uniform and Fairfield are in the gold with the blue shorts.

Melville Intermediate - Touch Vs. Cambridge Middle School

On Tuesday 19th March 2013 Melville Intermediate competed in the Waikato Inter Intermediate Touch competition.  The Inter Intermediate competition stretches from all the Hamilton Intermediates down as far as Tokoroa.   Melville Intermediates team were nervous and excited before the first game, an encounter with Cambridge Middle School.  The highlights were filmed by Nathan H and Levi from Room Five, who also spent today editing and creating the highlights footage.  Melville Intermediate are in the red and Cambridge Middle School are in the blue.

Melville Intermediate - Berkley Boys Touch Highlights

On March 25th Melville Intermediate Boys Touch Team played against Berkley School at the 2010 Inter-Intermediate Waikato Area Sports Competition.  This game ended up a 1-1 tie with Berkley evening the score very close to full time.  Here's Nick's report from the event:

Melville Intermediate - Melbourne Storm

On Friday 13th February 2009 Room 8 and Room 2 went to the Gallagher Pool at Melville College for our swimming lesson. The Melbourne Storm players were there. We were able to get some photo's of ourselves with some of the players. Description by Vika, Photographs taken by Kaiya.

The Melbourne Storm NRL side were in New Zealand as part of their pre-season build up. They'd played in Hamilton the night before against the Warriors.

All students at Melville Intermediate School have the option of taking part in swimming. Our school is in the process of selecting the team for the Inter Intermediate Sports competition. This competition involves all of the major schools in the Waikato area competing against each other throughout the year in a variety of sports.

The first school event of 2009 is the School Swimming Sports. Melville Intermediate will be taking a team of around 120 students to this major event. We also next week have the start of our afterschool sports teams with both the Boys and Girls Touch teams starting on Tuesday night and Saturday morning Softball's first games taking place this weekend.
