Melville Intermediate - Girls Self Defence
On the 27th of March 2012 the year 8 girls at Melville Intermediate school went on a self defense course.
It was a day and a half course of learning how to get out of an attack from a bigger, stronger and older adult.
It was a really fun experience and all the girls really enjoyed it. We played 5 games and learned to kick, punch and many more escapes for these situations. Our teachers name was Alison and she was really nice, she read us articles out of the newspaper about people who got out of difficult situations, most of the people who were attacked were only little kids. So pretty please leave us a comment! Thank you

Melville Intermediate - Canteen Tour 2012
We've had a lot of questions about our School Canteen (aka Tuck Shop) and what better way to explain it than to have the two students from Room Five who run the shop once a fortnight to give you a behind the scenes guided tour! Filmed by Kylie on Friday 23rd March 2012 at Melville Intermediate.
