On Friday the students that we are hosting from Saitama City, Tokyo, Japan spent a day in the classroom at Melville Intermediate School. The students participated in cultural exchanges with Melville Intermediate students - they had a chance to learn from our CPA, our school cultural group as well as playing a couple of sports - Rugby and Badminton. Our students were thrilled to participate with the students from another country and really enjoyed the experience!

Hey that sounds awesome!!!! I remembered when we had one of them at my old school, did you guys make any friends?
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning cultural exchange - Melville... you've done it again! We love watching how you share aspects of culture with the world... Did your guests teach you a song or something else? It would be interesting to hear what you think about being learners as well as ako. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, Room 11 thought that this was wonderful of you guys sharing your talents with students from another country. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteFrom Room 11 HES :)
