Melville Intermediate - Cooking without Mrs Brown

Unfortunately on the Y8 School Camp, Mrs Brown the Melville Intermediate School Cooking Teacher suffered an injury when her hand was broken.  She's still missing at the moment sadly, however in her absence several other teachers have been stepping up to the plate in the Cooking Room.  Friday last week saw Matua Taua step up to the plate with the students from Y8 and also R17 create quiches!

Students worked very hard on this process and Sam and Morgan from Room 17 were helping on the day so they were sent with cameras into the cooking room to record the process, they enjoyed it so much that we had to send them back when the quiche cooking was completed for viewing (and tasting which was clever) of the finished product.

  1. Hi room 8, I really liked the way you guys explained what you had done with the quiche. We haven’t made quiche in our class but I would really like to try it. What really inspired you guys to make the quiche and I’d really like to know why? We cooked last year for options. Check it out http://rumatoruotewa.blogspot.com/. From Kahnn.
