Melville Intermediate - Sativa's Explanation of Bone Carving

On Thursday afternoons we have Options at Melville Intermediate School (electives) during that time students have a wide range of activities that are available to them outside of the normal lessons. On Thursday 4th March, Kennedy from Room Eight went to Bone Carving and Sativa from Room Eight presented this video about what she was doing and toured the workshop.

  1. Cool carving of the bone. Great work. I've carved an arrow head out of bone before. It's jolly noisy in the work shop you were in. Do you carve delicate more pieces?

  3. Greetings from Mobile, Alabama USA. I am a student at the University of South Alabama. I found your video very interesting. I like how you used technology to make a video showing your activity. What do you do with the bones once you have carved and filed them? What type animal did the bones come from?
