Melville Intermediate - Inter Intermediate Touch Results

On Thursday 24th March 2011 Melville Intermediate competed in the Inter-Intermediate Waikato Touch Tournament. The Boys had an outstanding tournament defeated Cambridge Middle School 2-1, they drew with Berkley Normal School 2-2, were defeated by Matamata Intermediate 1-2 and then beat Maeroa Intermediate 2-0. They qualified for the Semi-Finals against Te Awamutu Intermediate and unfortunatly lost by the narrowest of margins 0-1. The Girls started with a loss to Cambridge Middle School 0-1 before defeating Berkley 3-0. They then lost to Matamata 0-1 before finishing the tournament with a 2-2 draw with Maeroa.

    Is this like a school competition who all the schools in your area is attending every year?
    How do you play Waikato Touch and how do you score goals?

  2. We love playing touch too, unfortunately we live a bit far away to come to the Waikato tournament but quite a few of us play touch on Friday nights. You guys played really well and should be proud of your achievements.

  3. Well done for participating so well in the touch tournament. We have a touch tournament tomorrow so we watched the video of you playing. We cheered when your team scored a try.

  4. I have a few questions for you. The game sounds really nice. But i wonderring is the game just like touch rugby or what. Or can you maybe make a video for us with all the rules. Then we can make a video about handball rules for you.
