This is the final highlight from our show at Melville Intermediate on Wednesday 27th November.  Its the Samoan Sasa from the students of the Melville Intermediate School Cultural Performing Arts Group, including something never seen before from the Boys near the two minute mark! Our Cultural Performing Arts Group has an important role in the School production in week nine. As that's the case our students have been rehearsing furiously to get ready and prepared. To check if they were prepared they were filmed by Room Eight students on Friday to asses! This was filmed by Shania from Room 8 at Melville Intermediate School on 3rd September 2010.

Melville Intermediate - 2009's Cultural Performing Arts

All these holidays we've been celebrating events involving the students of Melville Intermediate School.  Our Cultural Performing Arts Group (CPA) have had a focus on their performances from 2004, 2005 and 2009 and these performances from next week (when school starts back) are available from school on DVD for the first time! This is a highlight of our Samaon CPA group and their 2009 Sasa filmed at the October 2009 shows at Melville Intermediate School, the second nights performance.  Filmed by Matthew from Room 12.

This is one of the highlights from the show last Thursday at Melville Intermediate School - its the full Samoan Sasa that you've seen in progress from earlier in the year. The costumes are amazing and the work that's gone into this effort is astounding. Well done to everyone involved as it was a performance that everyone can be truly proud of. This is footage of our Cultural Preforming Arts (CPA) Group rehearsal for the Samoan Sasa.
Later in the year this group has a trip to Australia to perform in competition. This was filmed today, Thursday 12th of March in the School Hall. Our CPA correspondent will update this in full tomorrow.
