Melville Interemdiate - Trinitys MGT Winning Performance

This footage is from the School Talent Quest on Wednesday 10th July 2013 from the Melville Intermediate School Hall.  Its footage of the overall winner for 2013, Trinity from Room One who was sining a song from Hairspray - 'I know where I've been', which in the movie is sung by Queen Latifa.   Recorded by Manish from Room Five and edited by Jackie and Bianca from Room Five.

Melville Got Talent, our school wide talent quest is coming later this term.  We've got acts from all over the school competing.   Last year we didn't have a School wide competition, we took part in a Hamilton wide competition with a group of our students doing extremely well.  One of the finalists from 2012 from Melville, and its fair to say a favourite for the 2013 competition was Kyla from Room Twelve.   This is her 2012 effort singing 'Hallelujah' as filmed by Mr Bell at the 2012 finals.

Melville Intermediate - School Rock Band

At our talent quest on September 16th we had a special act, the debut of our new school Rock Band, singing "Three Little Pigs" as conceived by Green Jelly. The group had the whole crowd entertained with their wonderful performance! Filmed by Alex, Joe and Liam on the night. If you'd like to order the DVD we're selling it early next term as a fund-raiser for our school cultural group as they prepare for their Australian trip for the CPA group.

Ave Maria - this is another performance from Melville's got talent on the 16th of September 2009 at the Melville Intermediate School Hall. The show was from 7pm to 9pm on the night and was a huge success. Thanks so much to all the performers and also to Mr Bell, our schools music teacher who did such a wonderful job off and on stage.

These are more highlights from our amazing talent quest held at Melville Intermediate on Wednesday 16th September 2009. This is Room 5's entry into the class competition - the LP Film Awards when they created a parody of various movie s that have been released recently. This was the parody that they created of the Transformers Movie - starring the students of Room 5 and also Mr Bell!

Cleveland from Room 8 Dancing during the talent show - with special guest, Mrs Bleakin our Deputy Principal. Cleveland wrote the following description about his performance.
'Wednesday night I was fifth up on stage. When I went up I was pretty nervous I just wanted to get it over with! I started dancing and I had fun, and enjoyed it through the whole performance!'

This was filmed by Alex (R12), Liam (R8) and Joe (R5) if the performance looks a little disjointed its because someone liked the performance so much they stood up directly in the line of sight of the camera!

This is one of the video highlights for our Melville's Got Talent talent show that took place on Wednesday night at our School. This is Ashton, Alyssa and Jayda's singing performance which won the award for best group act. They are singing "Kia Paimarie" accompanied by our Music Teacher Mr Bell on Guitar. Melville Intermediate School had their 2009 Talent Quest with Melville's Got Talent which took place in the school hall on Wednesday 16th September 2009... there were Best Individual Act, Best Group Act and Best Class Act Awards... also the Teachers both Y7 and Y8 groups took to the stage to entertain the crowd... it was an amazing evening and Mr Bell the Music Teacher at School did a fantastic job!
