Melville Intermediate - Art Technology 2013

In Art for Technology we are doing 'Fantastic Creatures'.   First before we did anything we had to draw a part mural from 'Where the Wild Things Are'.   Once we had done that we had to make and design out own creature that was 'Fantastic' and they had to made from recycling materials mainly bottles.   An example is that some people have made some dinosaurs and I have made a sea monster.  We had to paper mache them once we had the design so that the model was strong.   The photographs that we took from Art Tech are by Owen and Josh and show the design process.

Melville Intermediate - Art Technology 2012

We're just starting with week three of the school year and students are all getting ready to post the first videos of 2012.   In preparation for that we've also had students preparing videos early about the lessons in the classroom that they are having as part of the learning program at Melville Intermediate School.  Team A has Technology twice a week on Mondays and Tuesdays, for two ninety minute sessions.  One of the Technologies that students take during this time is Art.  This is Kayla's tour of the Art Room filmed on Monday 13th February 2012.

Students of Melville Intermediate School twice a week have 'Technology' where they have specialist lessons in subjects such as Art, ICT, Electronics, Music and Textiles. Room 8 started their Technology lessons on Monday. On Tuesday at our second attempt at filming Kelly and Samm filmed a lesson in progress in the Art Room. Yesterday Room 8 started our Technology Options. One of the opportunities available to students at Melville Intermediate School is to have the students have extra lessons in a specialised area. One of the Technology Options that our students are currently in is Art. Kelly and Samm from the option created and filmed this video of thier Art lesson - they spoke to Bradley from Room 8 and he demonstrated how to blend with pastels.
