At Assembly today we wanted to show highlights from all of our 2012 Inter Intermediate Touch Games from Swarbrick Park, Hamilton. Joey from Room Five and Brooklyn from Room 18 co-wrote a report detailing the Boys experiences on the day. TeMahine and Praise from the Girls team did likewise. We're going to include these reports with this video shortly. The video is a combination of highlights from all of games and was filmed by Connor from Room Five and Nathan H from Room Five.

Melville Intermediate - Inter Intermediate Touch 2012
The Boys started off with a draw against Maeroa Intermediate School 2-2. They then played Matamata Intermediate winning 3-2. Up next they took on Berkley Intermediate, losing one nil, before finishing off with another win this time against Fairfield Intermediate 2-1. Unfortunatly other results had gone against them, and they placed third in their pool. Our warmest congratulations go to Peachgrove Intermediate and Te Awamutu Intermediate who again contested the final, with Peachgrove winning 2-1.
The Girls started a little slowly being defeated by Maeroa Intermediate 0-2 in game one, before drawing the second with Berkley Intermediate 0-0. Melville then managed to convincingly defeat Cambridge Middle School 4-2, leaving the final game against Matamata Intermediate with a win required to put Melville into the semi-final. Matamata scored on the stroke of half time, Melville scored within two minutes of the start of the second half, however despite numerous chances the winning try just wouldn't come, leaving the Girls missing out on the semi-finals on points difference (of one) to Berkley. Again our warmest congratulations to Peachgrove and Maeroa who played in the final and especially to Maeroa who won 4-1.
