The End of this Blog and the Moving Forward

Thank you for your visit. As regular visitors to this site will be aware this site is not actively posting as the teacher concerned has moved to a new school.

The work on this page is the collective work of the students of Melville Intermediate School from 2009 to 2013 from various classrooms during this time (Room Five and Room Eight).

Since we stopped posting on this site a number of the media sources and programs that we used to post material either ended or changed their fee based structure to a pay model - our response has been to remove a number of these posts, however there are still some that are on the site but the media etc is not present - we will be removing these over time.

There will be no new material posted on this site and the site will remain as a archive.

Melville Intermediate School Closed permanently in December 2023.   The school was replaced with an amalgamation of Melville Intermediate and Melville High School with the renamed Mangakotukututu College.

Melville Intermediate - CPA Boys Haka

At the end of the 2013 school year the Melville Intermediate School Cultural Performing Arts Group (CPA) went out to a number of local schools and centres and performed for various audiences.   This video is footage of the Boys Maori section performing their special Haka, that had been created for the school with the input of the local community constable.

A reminder that if you are a regular follower of this site you will be aware that is being closed shortly, the final material being posted is footage from last year.   The new site from the former Room Five teacher is being opened shortly, and will be posted here.  You can continue to the Melville Intermediate School site by clicking on the link here.
