Melville Intermediate - Inline Hockey Vs. Fairfield Intermediate

This post is from the class next door to Room Five, Room Six and their wonderful page that is coming along really, really well.  The post is by Abbie from Room Six and is about 2013 Inter Intermediate Inline Hockey Competition which occurred this Tuesday.

Yesterday I was part of the Inter Intermediate team that went to the Inline Hockey competition.  Our first game was against Fairfield Intermediate. It was a hard game even though it was our first game we did pretty good. I had never played inline hockey before so had to get use to skating and playing all at the same time.  Everyone was falling over during the first half but we slowly got use to it.  It was a lot of fun and the video is below.

  1. Looks like fun. Yesterday we played hockey too, the only difference is we were playing on grass, or rather, mud and water. Slip and slide style.

  3. The hockey sounds very interesting. I found ice skating quite hard and I kept on falling over. I got better too. Ice hockey looks quite hard to do.

  4. That looks so fun. I have never played hockey on ice before I only play it of a turf. It looks really hard to play, do you have positions?

  5. Looks cool. I've never played ice hockey before. I'd rather do the ice skating. Who won the game? Did you learn anything new?
