Melville Intermediate - School Sprints Final 2010

On Friday 12th November 2010 Melville Intermediate School had a special afternoon when the finalists for the Inter-Intermediate School Athletics team were selected in the 100m and 200m races. Students were looking to secure a top two placing to make the school team (out of 150 students!) for each event. Melville Intermediate - Y7 Athletics 2010

Today the Y7 syndicate at Melville Intermediate School had the first part of their school athletics for 2010. Each class completed four out of the five activities for Athletics - Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, Discus and Cricket Ball throw. The event was run by the students from Room 18 who did a simply phenomenal job. The top students for each event will compete in the Inter-Intermediate Athletics competition which is being held at Porrit Stadium, Hamilton, later in the year.
