Melville Intermeidate - Class Mascot Around School
Inspired by some of the mascots that we've seen online in different classrooms around the world, Jamie, Elizabeth, Bianca and Asinate took the R8 Donkey around the School for some exercise and came up with these creative locations for it.
Hi my name is Krystal from Chilliwack, B.C. I go to Central Elementary. I liked what you do with R8 Donkey. I also like the power point you did. Is R8 Donkey your class's mascot? Do you like power points?
Hi this is Jiayao from Chilliwack B.C. I like the idea of the little horse being a human being. I wonder, if the horse is made out of hay or string? Please answer me!
Hi Jiayao,We think the horse is made of flax and the hair is made of coconut husk. Anyway thanks for the comment we hope we answered your question correctly. From your friends Jamie and Elizabeth at Melville Intermediate Hamilton, New Zealand.
Hi, I'm Kristina from Central Elementary School in Chilliwack B.C. Canada. I especially like the picture of the horse by the fences. I've never seen a fence with words carved on the wood. But, I've seen just wooden fences. It reminds me of the farms I used to pass by all the time. It's also a great idea! The horse is very cute and you picked really great places for them! I remember I used to always bring my stuffed animals everywhere! Sincerely, Kristina
Thank you very much for your comment Kristina. The words carved on the fence are our maori version for our school values: Pride, Respect, Excellence, Resposibility and Integrity. We think it sounds really cute how you used to carry your stuffed animals around all the time. (sorry if we embaressed you.) From your friends Jamie and Elizabeth Room5 Melville Intermediate, Hamilton, New Zealand
Hello! We are from Russia. We like your mascot a lot! Does he travel only around your school? Has he ever been abroad? We've got a mascot too. His name is Cheburashka. He's a cartoon character. He's been to Canada and the USA. Now he's looking for another country to visit. Would you like to host him? Here's our blog: http://school72ryazanjun.blogspot.com/
I remember when Mini-Dylan and the Donkey first met at a conference. For those of you that don't know Mini-Dylan is our class mascot here in Nelson.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment and the video of ormie the pig, we absolutly loved it.
DeleteMellville Intermediate,
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of your mascot. What is it made of? Our mascot is a shark. Do you each get one mascot or is there onley one?
Until next posts,
Shelly in Chilliwack.
Thank you for your comment. We think it made out of flax and coconut husk and we only have one class mascot.
