Well done for your participation at the Waikato Inter-Intermediate swimming champs. I hope all your swimmers did well at the championships. Where were the swimming champs held? Here in Hawkes Bay we have an Inter-Intermediate shield which we compete in a variety of different sports like volleyball, swimming and basketball. It's called the 'Super Six' shield and is contested with our school, Taradale and 5 other schools: Heretaunga, Hastings, Napier, Tamatea and Havelock North.
It is cool that your school has swimming contests. I am new to Taradale Intermediate and we haven’t had a swimming contest yet. It’s good to know you have swimming contests so students can get better at swimming. We don’t have a pool at our school but we go swimming down the road at the Greendale Swim Centre. @ Sam - We don't have a pool at our school either, we have to go to the local High School or the local pool so its hard for our students who don't go to swimming club. @ Kadin - thanks for that detailed explanation. I didn't know a whole lot about your area but the Super Six sounds like it would be very exciting to be part of.
