Melville Intermediate - AIMS Games 2012

Although September might seem like a very long way away, our Melville Intermediate School Girls Basketball team has started preparing for the 2012 AIMS Tournament.  There's such a long way to go, and while we won't know until later in the year if we're defiantly going to be there the team has started by playing their best on Tuesday nights at the local Hamilton competition.  The Girls are playing against club teams and Boys teams and have had two wins, against the Golden Dragons (28-14) and KBC Korus (37-18).

  1. Kia Ora Room 5 Melville Intermediate,
You have a wonderful blog and we always like coming to visit and seeing the amazing things you are doing. We think it's a great idea to start training early. We also think that by the time the AIMS tournament comes up, you will have a great chance of winning because of all the practice you've done.

  5. @ Miss Lavakula we were looking at your class page today in the Computer lab and we're all leaving comments to your students in the next few days. We love your class page.
@ Mrs Basset - yes they are doing well, last year they didn't win a game in term four so to start winning now has been a good thing.
@ Ian/Tre - thanks for your comment, don't forget to leave your school name or URL so that we can leave a comment back.
@ austin - Melville's colors are Red/Green so that's the color of our Girls Team.
