Melville Intermediate - Learn to Speak Thai Lesson One
This is the final version. Our students reviewed yesterdays draft, looked at what they could improve and went back and re-shot the video. In this video you are listening for the following key phrases that you will hear in Thai and then in English (with the words in Thai on the Screen!)
Sa wud dee ka chun chue Nathalie - My name is Nathalie.
kun sa bye dee mai wunnee? - How are you today?
wunnee chun rien par sar Thai - Today I study about Thai words!
What a massive improvement to your first draft! Well done to you and your visitors! As a learner, I really appreciate the text intro making me aware of what I am listening for. The presenters look so much more relaxed and smiley - this helped me to enjoy and listen to what you were saying more closely. I did notice some background noise - the playground and the camera. Are able to adjust these sounds?
Keep up the great work and thanks for teaching me some thai!
Hi Mr. Webb. I enjoyed talking to your class on skype. Your national anthem is pretty long. Dee jai tee dai pob kun na ka is a very long way to say hi.
I think it is really cool you are teaching people how to speak Thai. I have learned French, Maori, Spanish and of course English. I can only speak English fluently.
