Melville Intermediate - Commenting Tasks Week One, Term Two

This week you must leave at least four comments on the following sites.  Read the instructions carefully but these must be completed by this Friday and have yourself signed off with the checklist Mr Webb has.
1.  During the holidays we received a visit from the students of Mrs Trefz Boys Classroom in Memphis, USA.  You are going to visit thier classroom site, and find a piece of work and return the favour by leaving them a comment, remember the commenting rules of our class and school first names only.
2.  We are going to be talking later in the week with students from the Ripple Effect in Canada.  You will need to visit their classroom and leave a comment that includes two of the five questions about Canada that you wrote in your ICT book yesterday.
3.  Visit Mrs Lofton's Class and listen to their voicethread about their class in the USA.
4. Miss Ale's Classroom in Argentina.  We are going to be talking to them later in this week or early this week.  You need to log onto thier classroom site and leave them a comment about a piece of work that you have viewed.  This must be constructive and include a suggestion for the student/piece of work.

You can visit these classrooms in any order but you must carry out the specific tasks at each one.

  1. Our class is doing the same as you guys are doing. We need to leave comments on your blog and some few others. How many children are in your class?

I hope you're having a good first week back to school.

  3. It is great to see you having your students leave comments on other students' blogs. I have found my students always learn something when they visit other blogs. I have seen their world view grow because of the opportunities they have.

@ Wm Chamberlain - yes so important to give constructive comments which is one of the reasons that I am such a huge fan of your comments for kids work

  5. Wow Room 8, you are lucky students to have such interesting reading and writing tasks to complete in class (or for homework). I enjoy reading your blog and finding out about your school. Keep up the good work.
