  1. Dear Room 8,

We've watched your slides with great interest! We wonder where you use the worms? In our country we use them for fishing :=)

  2. Dear Lyudmila and Class - our worms are responsible for eating all of the food scraps that are created by our students at school, we then use the food waste to fertilize our garden. We don't have anywhere near Hamilton that's really good for fishing!

  4. Great photos. We are in the process of setting up our compost system for the year. We will be involved in a lot of gardening based projects this year. Can't wait to be able to post some pictures of our own.

  5. Hi Room 8!

I really enjoyed this slide show of your Worm Farm. I have never seen or heard of a Worm Farm just an Ant Farm, but there is always a first for everything. My name is Katherine and I'm a student from South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. I'm really enjoying the pictures and it's great that our waste is another person or worm treasure. Good Job Kids! Keep up the great work!

  7. Watching the slide was very interesting. I know that using worms are a very good way to get dirt fertilized better and it is used very often in farming. It is awesome that you all are using worms and learning what they are good for and how they can help the world.
