Melville Intermdiate - Powhiri Makuhari Students
As most of you know our school has just completed an exchange with Makuhari College from Japan. This is a video taken of the Powhiri to welcome the students to our school.
It is great to see cultural customs celebrated regularly. This isn't something that happens in Australia regularly. I think we can learn a lot from the way the Maori Culture seems to be embraced in New Zealand.
